My name is Alexandra Harcha-Montes. I am a multidisciplinary Design professional with several years of experience in the fields of creative leadership, print and digital design, brand identity and development, brand strategy, environmental and experiential design, and social media management. My expertise and craft have been developed by working with a vast and diverse selection of clients in the CPG, educational, corporate, and non-profit sectors.
Having a wide range of experience from top design agencies and global organizations, and a unique professional journey, I am a strategic creative leader who thrives when complex challenges are presented, as process implementation and innovation are some of my passions. My design philosophy is to always tell The Story, creating emotional human connections, visual cohesion, and harmony to elevate brands.
Originally from Lima, Peru, I grew up heavily influenced by art, fashion and food. Exposed to a rich visual and cultural environment from a young age, the use and understanding of the psychology of color and cultural research have been the foundation to my craft. I have always been wildly passionate about art and fashion, this instinct led me to move to the United States in the pursuit of a design education and career, leaving behind medical school and life as I knew it in search of the unknown. It is the fearlessness to take risks and strive for the new, that gives us an edge as creatives, while my science background greatly pushes my personal curiosity into serious research methodologies. This is key to my creative process, to be able to discover and forge deep connections between brands and humans.
My design inspiration is drawn from contemporary art, urbanism, and colorful manifestations of personal expression.
This site highlights a brief sample of the variety of visual design and communication work I have produced and directed over the years.
